Marshall’s Miracle Film

Marshall's Miracle, a heartwarming 2015 American family drama film based on the true story of a Labrador Retriever who was found in terrible shape at the home of an animal hoarder.

I took on multiple crucial roles, contributing to its success. As Line Producer, I oversaw the day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth production execution. Additionally, as Costume Designer, I meticulously crafted the visual identities of characters, adding depth to their portrayal on screen.

2014 Winner Best Feature Film, St.Louis International Film Festival, Marshall’s Miracle.

The Work

Line Producer

As Line Producer on Marshall’s Miracle, I was the operational backbone of the production responsible for budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring each department had what it needed to deliver on time and on budget. I worked closely with the director, producers, and department heads to translate creative vision into executable plans.

From negotiating crew contracts and securing vendors, to managing shoot logistics and on set problem solving, I kept the production running smoothly. I also liaised with local authorities, location owners, and community partners to coordinate access, permits, and accommodations throughout the shoot.

Head of Costume

As Head of the Costume Department on Marshall’s Miracle, I was responsible for developing the visual identity of each character through wardrobe, helping to tell the story not just through dialogue, but through fabric, texture, and detail.

Working closely with the director and production designer, I led the design and sourcing of costumes that reflected each character’s personality, socioeconomic background, and emotional arc. From creating mood boards and doing fittings to managing continuity and on-set dressing, I oversaw the full costume pipeline from prep to wrap.

I also managed the costume team, coordinated with hair and makeup, and collaborated with actors to ensure comfort and authenticity in every look. Whether outfitting classroom scenes or more emotionally intense moments, my goal was always the same: to support the story through clothing that felt lived-in and honest.
